Sustainable Shoes
During the summer 2025, I worked as a shoe design intern at a start-up company called Badi Shoes. The priority of the company is to take a more sustainable approach to footwear design through manufacturing processes and material development.
I sketched many iterations of shoe uppers in addition to making rough physical models. These are not available to show on my website, but here are some examples of mechanical ideations for a detachable upper concept we were working on. These were submitted to the Footwear Innovation Foundation Competition and we placed in the top 50 of projects considered.
